You will stay, as part of a small group of about 10 persons,at Hedegårds Pensionat; a small and pleasant guesthouse, just outside the village of Ekshärad, surrounded by the woods of the province of Värmland in mid-Sweden. Sometimes it seems that time has stood stillfor some years here. Our hosts will make sure we are very comfortable and the food is excellent!

Nature

 

Ekshärad lies in a hilly and forrested surroundings; far away from the big cities. Here one can still find real silence!

There is a vast population of wildlife; beaver and elk is so common that a meeting with one ofe these animalsduring one of the organised safari's is almost inevitable. One might also find deer, wolf, lynx and bear in these area. 

 

Our beats are in the middle of nature, far away from the big crowds. So the trip to the beat alone is an adventure and we can garantee you undisturbed fishing!

 

In Sweden experiencing nature is called ‘Vildmarksliv’; it is a wide concept that includes making food outside.

Therefore we will surely eat our lunch at a traditional camp-fire and with ingredients from the region.

When we get back, and thats also typical in these parts, one can relax in a hottub, sauna or at a fire.
